This location is quite large and located within the Old Market. The bar area is nicely done with plenty of rotating beers on tap. We visited on a very cool night so business was slow and the service was good. The medium pizza we ordered was thin crust based and was nothing special. Instead of slicing the pizza into triangles the pizza was sliced in a grid pattern leaving many of the pieces way too small. The edge of the crust was overcooked and hard to bite. They do have a large selection of beers, but when you add tax on top of the listed price some become quite expensive. Overall better than most of the Old Chicago's we've visited in Omaha and other cities. We did try the new pretzel sticks which were awesome, but corporate needs to work on the pizza.

This place is very cozy and has very good food. I would recommend the Italian nachos, very good and very well portioned. The pizza is also very good but a little pricey but not over the top expensive. Visited twice during on 3 nights in Omaha.

We were in here mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Very low traffic for dining, but the bar area had a few watching games. both the hostess and the waitress looked and acted like they didn't want to be there. Slow, excuses for mistakes. There were only three tables in our part of the restaurant with guests. Another section was cordoned off, and three other staff were assisting on the bar side, so no excuses.
Waitress brought wrong beverages, didn't correct before bringing out the check. Couldn't get the TV turned on to watch the game (why else go to a sports bar?).
At least the food was good, as usual. Waitress didn't check on us after food arrived until she brought the check.

I've been to Old Chicago numerous times at most, if not all of the locations in Omaha including this one & have never had any issues. Therefore I'm going to to chalk this incident up to the fact that they were short staff & it just wasn't a good night for them. When we walked in, they seemed to be in disarray, there were a ton of un-bussed tables making the restaurant appear dirty. We waited for 10 mins to be seated (which is no problem) but we were escorted past all of this filthy tables to ours which was just kind of unsightly. Our waitress, although friendly, was clearly preoccupied which led us to believe they were short staff, which was kind of odd because there really were not that many guests in the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer, which came out swiftly & then proceeded to order our food. We tried to be patient as they were clearly understaffed but when we started to notice that other people who got there after us was getting their food we become suspicious. Plus we both ordered burgers, which is a very basic meal to cook. Long story short, the kitchen had accidentally made our food to go & it had been sitting in the warmer for who knows how long. So they brought our food out in the to go boxes & the waitress apologized & brought us plates yet never gave us the option of getting our order re-made fresh & actually plated, which irritated us even more. But honestly we had waited so long to the point that we were over it & didn't want it re-made but it still would have been nice to have the option. The food was hot but the fries were soggy & gross, my burger was actually really good but my date's burger was over cooked. We were too over it to enjoy our food & it even more of a fail that when it finally came it wasn't the best. It was just kind of an overall disappointment. The manager took $10 off of our bill but never came by to personally apologize. Our issues weren't accommodated well, so we were just turned off at the end of the day. Maybe they were having an off day, which happens but still I probably won't be going back to this location anytime soon.

Can't go wrong with Old Chicago. Great food, drinks and service. Try the Italian Nachos, they are my favorite.
