Decided to go tubing with my sis and her 4 teenage kids. Found this place last minute on our way driving to Leavenworth from snohomish Washington. Most places that offer inner tube rides cost between $20 and $25, and offer a discounted rate for kids 12 and under. Unfortunately this place was not one of them. Total cost for 6 was $147 to rent 6 inner tubes, regardless of the age. You book a time slot, park your car, and only bring what you absolutely need, as there is nowhere to hold your things once you get there. If you forget your sunscreen or waterproof phone case, you can always buy them here for a pretty penny! ($11 for sunscreen and $10 for waterproof case). As for a towel...you don't need one! You will be in the water the entire time. A shuttle drives you to the river (shuttle is actually a big yellow old school school bus...smells like one too!), where you choose your tube (blue is smaller than red), grab some frisbees (which you will need to paddle with and not to play), and ropes to tie your tubes together to stay in a group, and you are let loose on the river. You are encouraged to stay to your left in order to avoid the super strong current you will encounter if you don't. Water depth is completely different in every part of the river, and the river floor is filled with large slippery rocks, so be careful. Also, logs throughout the river as well, so be aware of the direction you are headed. This is NOT a place for diving, as you don't know what you will fall upon in that river...so please don't be the fool jumping from the bridge and possibly injuring yourself in the process (yes...I saw a few teenagers doing this, and felt sick to my stomach with the anxiety of watching them jump onto shallow water into rock and log filled river). The ride is super relaxing and it's about an hour and half of floating down the river until you reach the end and return your tube, and walk a short distance back to your car. Plenty of small beaches to stop at if you so choose to along the way. Lots of cool people on the river to chit chat with who are kayaking, paddle boarding, or floating along with you. Pretty pricey, but it was worth it!
