“Beautiful cabin and wonderful location”

We traveled as family, my husband ,two teenage sons and myself. The cabin had all we needed, designed beautifully, you could see that the owner put her/his heart there. Location gave us a lot of privacy which we really needed.
Thank you Patti and Rick

“Perfect!”

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Lost Bison Cabin. It had absolutely everything we could have asked for and the seclusion was perfect. We only saw the landlords/owners drive by twice so it really was private. There is a patio door in the bedroom and so we woke every morning to seeing nature at it's finest. Don't get me wrong, I don't like bees, however there was clover all over the yard and it seemed there was a big bumblebee taking care of the flowers every 10 feet or so. The only noise I heard walking through the yard was an occasional breeze coming down the mountain and the mesmerizing hum of the bees; talk about tranquility! I cried when we left thinking about how peaceful my vacation was because of this little piece of heaven. Patti Lane (Rick's wife) is very knowledgeable of the area and attractions. I told her that I wanted to search for pretty rocks and she was able to show me another little piece of heaven up a mountain in the area. I can't imagine staying any place else next time we go. Hospitality was perfect. Thank you Lane family for being the perfect hosts and giving us the privacy we so desired. We will be coming back in a couple of years.

“It's What You're Looking For”

This review is going to seem to contradict itself...here's why.
The cabin is rustic but has modern amenities.
Its away from things but close to Custer.
The owners leave you alone, but are seconds away.
We totally enjoyed our stay and got exactly what we were looking for and the cabin was exactly as advertised. One morning we noticed a damp floor and emailed the owners on the way out to do sightseeing. When we returned they came down the hill to tell us they replaced the hot water heater. We were able to visit a bit and found out they used to live there and basically left it decorated when they left.
The cabin is rustic but has a full kitchen and large fridge. It also has a normal size TV but lots of channels thru satellite. It was advertised as a queen size bed, but seemed a little smaller.
We enjoyed the firepit a few evenings and warmed up watching the stars.
We loved it, a memory maker!
