We wanted to see what all the hype was about so we decided to give Mother's a try. There was a little wait, had to sign in but there was no one at the front to give instructions.

Finally got seated, the tables weren't really spaced, but staff wore masks. Bathroom was cleam, restaurant was ok..

Food was just alright. It was lukewarm, they had that hard butter for the toast/biscuit. The coffee was nasty, some of the worse coffee..yuk! And they don't bring you the cream, they put it in the cup for you. I ordered over medium eggs and the yellow was all the was HARD. The grits were good.

Well I can say, I've been to Mother's

My son and I enjoyed a takeout dinner from here. The food was excellent and was available on time. Definitely worth another visit.

Very disappointing. I'm assuming Mother dont work there anymore, or died. First off, service was AWFUL. Ordered a coffee, which was fine, took 20 minutes to get a refill. Sat right across from the kitchen, and orders were constantly being returned. Workers arguing with each other, etc. Sure enough, our food came, and the orders were wrong. We just ate it. Bland, Bland, Bland. I'm from NC, and know grits. Instant are better. To top it off, guy couldnt figure out what table we were at, to figure out our tab, so wanted to argue about that. He actually sat us! To say the least, these guys are struggling!

Mothers is a must! They do one thing great and that is Po Boys. If you want to have a great lunch or eat a super Roast Beef po boy, this is it. They have something called a debrie po boy. Try it you’ll never forget it.

My strong recommendation is get to mothers at least an hour early. There is a line and believe me it’s well worth it.

We went in and got sat. We sat at the table for 10 minutes. Some lady asked us what we wanted to drink from across the room. A man dropped off 3 waters and said nothing. My husband asked for coffee, never got it. We told them he asked for coffee again, no one responded. We walked out. Worst experience I've ever had and didn't even get to order. They weren't busy so there was no excuse for the lousy service.
