At the Mercantile all the rooms are suites so you are guaranteed a spacious room with great decor. My room was made up of three rooms, bathroom, bedroom and the living room. The continental breakfast is nothing to write home about but the front desk staff are awesome and very helpful. They make the Mercantile something special. The location is perfect. it's withing walking distance of everything, downtown attractions, tours, the River Walk Outlet mall and the Cruise terminals.

The Mercantile New Orleans was an excellent choice for our couples trip. The rooms were very spacious and I liked the living and sleeping quarters separate. If they say customer service will keep your establishment in business the Mercantile will be around a long time, Anitra was WONDERFUL, so helpful and informative. The whole staff was great. I will definitely stay here again when I return thanks Mercantile NewOrleans!!!

From the Blues and Jazz records to play on an actual record player, to the spacious and well appointed room, the Mercantile has thoughtfully considered its guests. A pleasant greeting from the smiling front desk person might be expected, but the sunny views from the huge windows of our corner room were extraordinary! I wouldn't change a thing except the high cost of the secure parking.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room and find your own parking garage for $15 less a night, Since we were there for five nights, cheaper parking added up.

Such a cute little hotel with the sweetest staff. If I'm ever back in NOLA The Mercantile Hotel would be my 1st choice. Great location as well. Less than a 5 minute walk to Harrah's casino & about a 10 minute walk to the French quarter.

Room Tip: We were in the king suite. Such a beautiful room. We had a record player with the most soothing Jazz music that we played our entire stay. The little coffee maker in the room was also a great touch.
