Owner description: Ride with us through the New Orleans neighborhoods we live in with the cities original and oldest bike tour company. It’s been over 11 years of great tours and great customers, making us feel like the luckiest folks every day at work. Tours that we have developed over the years include the Creole tour (our culture and history ride), the culinary bike ride that eats its way through 4 local restaurants, the history of drinking tour (which is exactly what it sounds like) and our Ninth Ward Tour that shares the story of the rebuilding and why it was so important to us. The rides are relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar on our Creole tour where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like (water or nothing are also fine choices). All tours have one speed, slow. Call or email us, we don't use computer booking...old fashioned is how we roll on wheels and in the shop.
Useful Information: Activities for older children, Lockers / storage

We had a great time cruising around the city and stopping for food, views, and New Orleans history. Would definitely recommend!

The tour guide, Nick Fox, was excellent. Passionate about the recovery of the Lower 9th, a resident of that community for the last 7 years, and also funny as hell. The tour was cleared with the neighborhood association(s) before it launched, so it's not a Disaster Tourism deal at all. Quite the contrary. It includes a visit to a local grocery store - started and run by a resident who had other plans but saw after Katrina that there were NO local grocery stores so decided to create one. This fellow was super upbeat and welcoming. Also a visit to a local museum about the Mardi Gras Indians, by a long-time resident of the Lower 9th with a very funny sense of humor.

I took part in both the Lower Ninth Ward and Creole tours. Both were great, but the Lower Ninth was the standout. CoC takes you where most other tours won't and have clearly cultivated mutually respectful relationships with their neighbors. Informative and inspiring.

Took the Creole Tour with Jeff. He is the founder and is passionate about New Orleans and it's amazing multicultural history. He learned to know every person on the tour so he could make perfect recommendations from who's playing the the music each of us was interested in and where to the dress code and maître d' name (if it might be helpful). There couldn't be a better way to start a visit to New Orleans.

The Confederacy of Cruisers 9th Ward Rebirth tour was the highlight of my time in New Orleans. Filled with interesting facts, history and a glimpse at the REAL New Orleans, this tour shows the lower 9th with respect and empathy.
