Don't expect a fantastic view at the swimming pool as it is facing bamboo poles with twining plants and fallen leaves tend to drop into the pool. The pool water is drained every morning hence most of the time is still water and has insects drop into it. Swimming pool is cold and dark lighting at night. Thus, I dare not use the pool during 5 days of my stay there.

I realised not everyday the staff change the bedsheets and it has stains on it. Black and stained tiles in bathroom. Bathroom's jacuzzi tub has multiple switches and it does not show where to turn towards hot & cold directions. Difficult to turn the knob as well showing that machine is old & worn out.

Staff service is superb. They greet you every morning however when I asked for more bottled water, they were unable to provide. Most hotels will be able to provide extra bottled waters instead of 2 per day. Daily breakfast is okay but limited choice of food.

Also, you have to book 1 day in advance for day trips or airport transfers. They are unable to do it on the same day. Affordable rates to join their day trips as well as airport transfers which is cheaper than other private drivers out there.

Very friendly. Each villa is clean and have private pools. Managed to get upgraded later in the week to even bigger villa. Breakfast good but get in before the Chinese locusts clean the place. Staff so very friendly, catch the shuttle to Legion. Great restaurants in walking distance, especially Biku.

Room tip: private pool and private villas excellent

Firstly the staff (apart from one who I will detail later) were exceptionally helpful, polite & friendly.
We were there for 2 weeks which I understand now is not usual so maybe what we found would not bother people staying for a few days.
We found our villa was quite dark due to the way they are designed - 3 storey with a small private pool on the ground floor leading off the sitting area. The bedroom was on the second floor with a "roof" terrace above. The terrace only had a table so no where to sit which would have been nice as that was the area that got the most sun.
There was a plastic canopy over the second floor which appeared to be to catch plant debris. This hindered the sun getting to the ground floor pool area.
The mains issue were:
1 a plan for maintanence was needed as the room was tired & dated. Really it was only little things like door handles, bed side tables & toilet handles were lose, towels tired & grey, paintwork peeling, maybe more modern/lighter decor. However, the cleaners could not be faulted.

2 the food at breakfast was really not up to standard. Poor choices for both asian & non asians alike. The tea & coffee was awful. Choice of fresh fruit limited & tasteless. No yogurt. Abundance of eggs but the poached ones often came swimming in water.
I had asked for tea & yogurt on the first 2 days which I got not problem but on the 3rd day when I asked , I was directed to the flask by a "new bee" (wirtten on the back of her uniform) as the other I would have to pay extra for.
I said that the tea in the flask was not fit to drink, I wasnt prepared to drink it & that I would like a tea bag please.
She went away & got a tea bag but left it on my table with no cup or hot water. I then noted she was laughing with another waitress whilst looking in my direction.
In the whole time we were there we did not see a senior or manager in which to address the breakfast situation. I would suggest that anyone who stays here goes bed only as the breakfast really was a waste of money.
However, from that day we went in to the cafe at the front of the hotel "Nebule" for breakfast & indeed many meals as this was a great place.
The staff in there were superb & we had many a great meal & "crack" with them.
As we were there 2 weeks we were very fortunate to be offered an upgrade to a villa next door which we took so our 2nd weeks was superb (see Kanja Villa) which was really good/
