Best villa i've ever had

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 13 Oct 2019
I stayed for 2 days and it was really a great experience to stay in Bloomfield. It's a really unique and has this 'Bali vibes' everywhere within the vila, It's only has 16 rooms in total so it's quiet and peaceful. The villa is really beautiful, the pool is facing directly to field rice, the staff is really friendly and helpful. They always gives you some complimentary when you hanging out around the living room or the pool. I once swam in the night and the staff is standby and gave us the new towel and played some chill music. I really love this villa so much and definitely will come back here another time I visited Bali.

The room we got was the woody room (not listed on their website but available on airbnb - it’s more for those on a budget) it’s located right next to the reception area

Exact to pictures we found on the internet. Our room was relatively big, with working air conditioner, TV, and fridge. The toilet was quite small but had a relatively big sink area to lay out your personal stuff.

The biggest issue I have with the room I was in, was the maintenance of the room. The sliding door separating the toilet from the bedroom was a little bit wonky - rhe door would be closed shut but there were still gaping holes to see through.

Additionally, there is only one glass panel separating the shower area from the link/toilet bowl. So water did splash out onto the wooden floor... so the wood closest to the shower area is VERY rotting, and there’s almost an indent making it very fragile to step on (the floor towel provided covers it up so you probably wouldn’t notice it until you step on that area/lifted off the towel.

However, other than that I’m actually very happy with my stay. Although there weren’t much interaction between us and the staffs, they had friendly and smiley faces whenever we crossed paths.

They did room service everyday too, provided fresh clean towels, made bed, and even placing your clothes neatly away for you.

There’s about 4 available points to charge your devices in the room.
The pool area with the view was AMAZING despite the pool having bugs in it (guess it’s inevitable since the paddy fields is right across us)
The living room area was a really nice place to chill at, exact to pictures as well. And the WiFi was strongest in this area.

However like I said in the beginning, the room we were at was a cheaper room, so WiFi was only the strongest/available when we were out of our room.

Also, it really is between 10-20mins worth of traveling from this place to canggu/seminyak (depending on traffic). It’s super quiet in this area

Relatively nice place but needs a spruce up as it’s aging in places. We stayed in room 12. The decor was lovely & the bed comfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes in our room despite the doors being closed & not left open. The bathroom needs work, there was an unpleasant smell, the shower was less than inviting & the extractor fan sounded like an airplane taking off. Staff were all lovely and the food was great. Could be amazing with some love put into it.

Has that honeymoon, homely but 5 star stay feel
Got reccomended by a friend to stay here and I’m so glad I did - couldn’t recommend it higher.
At the top of my list places to revisit!
The staff were exceptional and the daily breakfast was very impressive.
The decor and setting left me feeling very inspired.
They even have a little shop that sells little decor and gifts to treat yourself + pressies
*also it’s nice that they offer pilates + yoga in their own studio next to the pool - how lovely it was

We stayed in the private villa for 10 nights and absolutely loved it. Each child had a room of their own which was perfect for 2 teenagers and we had the master bedroom overlooking the rice paddies. Beds were super comfy and all rooms were air conditioned. Excellent staff who couldn't do enough for you. Continental breakfast was included and consisted of fresh fruits, homemade yoghurt, chia puddings, granola, fresh bread and pastries. All other melas in the restaurant were also amazing! Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back!

We booked on the basis of the images we saw online; they did not disappoint - the styling is so beautiful, just perfect for us! We stayed in one of the standard rooms which was really spacious. The pool area was gorgeous - both pools directly overlooking the rice paddies which look so vast - we spent a lot of our time by the pool :)

The staff were really friendly & brought us food & drinks poolside. Breakfast was lovely, we ate it at the outside dining area by the pools - although perhaps some warm options would be nice eg. eggs, fresh croissants, etc?

The staff arranged the scooter hire for us so we spent the week zipping around on that; it only look us 5-10 mins to get where we needed to go in Canggu. We found the location perfect as it was away from the hustle & bustle and felt like we were so secluded as it was so peaceful, despite being only 20m from the road.

It was more on the pricey side but we did really enjoy our stay & would 100% recommend!

Room tip: rooms around the pool seem to have less privacy as they don't have a balcony
