Ambience of Hotel is very good....all staff behaviour is very polite and friendly with guest, clean Rooms and good food. Also The Game zone area is one of best place at hotel with very friendly and joyful people like ..Jayashree Madam, very helpful nature ,
At the reception, Shantanu was very co-operative, even the mangers were very co-operative. check in was smooth, Manger Ganeshan was also very co-operative.
Nice and quite ambience.
We had DJ nite, but nobody was there, so we requested the DJ to be played, but he played it softly, as due to low occupancy, they had canceled the DJ nite, but he played it for me and my spouse, it was really a good experience & we felt special.
Few suggestions.
Room no 305 the drainage of the wash basin was not working properly.
Swimming pool nobody was using, also was not clean ( leaves were floating on the top & bottom).
Breakfast which was included in the tariff was not upto the mark, as it was limited due to less check in, had to remind the staff about refill, though they were co-operative, it should have been taken care without any reminders.
Table tennis bats need to be replaced, not working to play with these bats
The ping pong ball were all bad and not good.
only pool table & carrom were worth playing.
overall, if you ignore small things, the experience was good, or maybe we are at the hotel when the occupancy was the lowest.
Would recommend, but at a price, as we paid around 6046/- per night including breakfast for two, this price seems reasonable.
if the price is more, quite frankly you have other options, with these level of services available in Lonavala. ( nothing against The Orchid).

You are providing water in glass water filled with filtered water..
even small 2 stars hotels are providing packaged water ...
TV was not working for almost 2 hrs after chk in...
All other things are good..

It was good stay with Orchid Lonavala. They provided good range of breakfast. Breakfast was tasty. Hotel staff was cooperative and helpful. Rooms are well maintained and good ambience. Check-in and check-out was hassle free. Hotel is located on main road of Lonavala.

Good experience but i requested the hotel that it was my husband’s birthday and to treat him special. As a star rated hotel i expect atleast a wish from the staff. When i asked the staff about my note he said they dont do this on weekends as they are busy. Disappointed with this one thing as I had specially planned this for him. We did the same thing on my birthday and booked mariott. Funny thing is their prices are same but Marriott’s service was much much better, they decorated our room for free, decorated our dinner table, the staff was lively and wished me as i entered the hotel.
