This is for all those people like me who dnt get bookings in good hotels and finally land up in mess hotel like grand visava as I did.
Hotel ambience average food below average staff courtesy in minus. Absolutely insensitive staff, lethregic management.
This is honest review. We spend our hard earned money on vacations. Spending on such hotel is waste of pur money.

I booked this hotel per reviews from google and Tripadvisor. However, the experience was completely different. Situated on main road and parking space is only pros here.
1. Went for lunch after check-in. And waited for 30 minutes + to get the rice we ordered after main course. Given order 2 times still no response. Finally went outside and had food.
2. Check-out timing are very “strict” here. You need to vacate at 10am or they will charge for half day price. I checked with their staff and he confirmed the same.
Front desk is useless. They don’t have courtesy to talk to customer or help them out.
Overall ruined my day

We went in for a 1 night stay. Starting with the rooms , we had booked a premium room with a Queen sized bed .The room was pretty well furnished and maintained along with good quality AC .It had all the basic amenities that you would normally get with a hotel room .
The hotel has two restaurants , one with veg/ non veg options (Garam masala ) and another with pure veg option ( Revanta ) .We went to Garama masala for lunch and found the taste of the food to be very good.Only point to ponder was the Rate vs Quantity aspect .We did not find the quantity of food provided to be fair justice for the price asked .
The property has a pool which is not too big and not too small ,at the back side of the property with a children's play area .There was also a nice big Lord Buddha statue for the photogenic public .
The biggest plus we found with the stay was the Saturday night live orchestra which was organised .Spent a peaceful and melodious night with beautiful singing and music , big kudos to the artists performing the show .
The breakfast was a pretty normal Indian type breakfast , wherein there is a scope of improvement.People need to downsize their expectations and options about the breakfast.
Overall we had a pleasant stay at the property without any major complaints.
Location: This hotel is situated in the main road, which makes it easy to find. Main attractions of the city are close by. Also, there are a number of restaurants and chikki centers within 1km range, however, this part of town gets really crowded and faces a lot of traffic jams.
Facility: Ample parking space. Good reception area. Restaurant has good seating arrangements. Swimming pool is medium sized and clean. Spa center also looks good. Games area is fine, but pool table, foosball table, air hockey table are in poor condition, which should be well maintained. Gym is also poorly managed.
Hospitality: staff is courteous and helpful. They try to solve the issues as soon as possible.
Room: ours was a twin bed room, it was neat and clean. Bathroom was also tidy, however, there was some strange smell which they failed to rectify because as per them, they received too much guests socit was not able to do so. Also, absence of fridge in hot summer days was a huge disappointment. Pillows were too big for a normal person to relax and sleep.
Food. Breakfast spread was good and tasty. I had boiled eggs, egg bhurji, cut fruit, sheera and tea. Main course looked a little costly, so we decided to skip it.
Overall a good experience despite few lows.
So here we are...at Lonavala. Since it was not a planned move..we were stuck in choosing a place for our short stay. And then we saw 'Liquid Library'!! To everyone's curiousity by the very name of it and also to quench our thirst..we entered 'The Liquid Library'. All in sync and unison said 'wow'. The sweet aroma of fantastic coffee, dim lights and the ear-soothing romantic tunes...of the 'Liquid Library' lounge! amalgamated with varied fragrances of cocktails, mocktails and what not. So guys...all this made our choice simpler and we checked in.
Rooms were well arranged and beautifully decorated with wall paintings. All the facilities were present and provided, including a gym, swimming pool, indoor games, bar cum restaurant. All these are the ones ...which we usually find at any other place. What made difference was...the great hospitality. The staff have been really awesome and amazing. Would like to mention a few here and thank them for making Lonavala more than worth...Mr. Kailash (for the care and homely food), Rohit and Atul (for your promptness at Front desk), Lalit and Vinod (for providing the best food in the town - we gained a couple of kilos for sure) and Ramesh (a cool and trustworthy helping hand).
Lastly, Saturday Live singing at Hotel centre foyer with beautiful crowd and good food had been really memorable.
Certainly whenever it's Lonavala....it's Richmond - The Grand Visava!!
