Average at best, not as good as last year. Waited all year to eat here, because last year everything was phenomenal. Bacon was overcooked and the house potatoes are heavily salted.
And $2.50 for a bottled soda is just ridiculous.
Sorry we didn't exceed your expectations, guess we were off our game today for your meal...and we have always charged 2.50 for soda 16.9 oz for 4 years now. Have a blessed day!

Timbers is one of our favorite restaurants in the Gatlinburg area. Run by a kind, hard-working couple, this place is home-cooking at its finest. Don't expect the efficiency (re: cold-hearted machinery) of a global restaurant chain; instead, put in your order, sit back, and enjoy the quiet mountain scenery. Perhaps explore one of the quaint shops nearby. Then prepare to enjoy the best bacon you've ever tasted, along with a burger, french toast, or shrimp and grits.

We were welcomed graciously and had a wide choice of scrumptious sandwiched and sides. The meals were more than we expected and delicious. The friendliness of the staff made our visit worth the drive. They also helped us with directions to our next destination. We will definitely go back whenever we have the chance.
Great choice for a home-cooked breakfast. Everything was just like home… Including the singing in the kitchen.
This place gives you a true down home feel. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back when we come for our next vacation.
