Last year we stopped at this awesome hotel with our shepherd in tow. We loved it so much we stopped here again this year. We were greeted with the same friendly staff who sends texts to make sure you have everything you need. We were so comfortable and it was just a great place to stop on our long road trip. We will be back next year!

We stayed there for a long weekend with friends. The hotel was swarming with dogs, even having a room in the restaurant for people with dogs. They are confined to 1st and 2nd floor rooms, so if you have an issue with dogs, ask for the third floor.
I agree with the reviewer who said avoid 1st floor rooms. Our first night there we were on the first floor and between the guests and staff banging doors and the truck noise from the street it was a rough night. Too bad, the beds are super comfy and I was looking forward to a good nights rest. We were graciously moved to the third floor which still had some street noise but overall it was much better.
Hotel staff were all very pleasant. We had breakfast at Pacci which was good. Hotel is conveniently located to the Riverwalk.
Has a lovely courtyard for nice weather.
Overall a solid 3.5.

If you have stayed at other Kimpton properties you will be disappointed . No character, bathroom split- sink outside in room, yes the threw in some funky furniture, but in general, they missed the mark here. A shame because I really like Kimpton properties - I have stayed at 3 in Seattle, 2 in Boston and New York, as well as San Diego and Chicago.

We didn’t even stay 24hours, but our short stay was pleasant. Clean, well appointed room in a good area of town- we walked to dinner. Pricey parking- only valet is offered, at 29.00/night. We were unimpressed with the hotel restaurant for breakfast- food was just ok, underdone bacon and eggs, overdressed salad. We’ll probably try another spot next time we’re in town since there are so many options.

I stayed here for the rock and roll savannah marathon and could not have been happier. staff was friendly and helpful, and even provided some snacks and Gatorade for runners race day morning. The hotel offers a happy hour for guests daily and has a wonderful open outside sitting area in the middle of the building. The restaurant on site was popular and had a great menu. Located in the norther historic district close to the savannah river gave us fantastic access to bars, shops, and restaurants. Rooms were clean and inviting. I would absolutely stay here again
