My husband and I loved staying at the Hamilton-Turner Inn. The Inn is beautiful, the staff is extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. Our breakfasts each morning were 5 star. There was delicious afternoon treats in the parlor and drinks. Our room was extremely clean, with lovely bathrobes and great magazines to read. The bed was extremely comfortable too.

Room tip: We left a tip upon our departure.

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here for a Halloween visit to Savannah. The haunted history of the city drew us in, but this historic home made our stay worthwhile on its own. We spent two nights in the Eli Whitney room and loved every minute of it.

This was a gorgeous property and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The exterior of the building looked historic but well-maintained, and the garden and landscaping were beautiful. The autumn decor was perfect. The fountain looked a little tired but that's to be expected with an older building.

The interior was exquisite. The room was comfortable, plush, meticulously decorated and well-stocked. The parlor and dining areas were gorgeous and felt very high-end yet welcoming with their southern charm.

The location was ideal. It was far enough from the river to avoid the touristy riff-raff, but still in the heart of the historic significance and points of interest. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance, and it's a lovely area to walk. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and historic squares and homes within a few blocks.

I had read other reviews where people complained the downstairs rooms were subject to upstairs noise. Although we heard a few bumps in the day, we slept like babies at night.

The best part of the experience was the staff. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Although the property itself was almost perfect, it was the staff that sealed the deal on the entire visit.

Hat-tip to the owners for cultivating such a beautiful place and such a great staff. This was an excellent stay. My wife and I would jump at the chance to stay here again in the future.

My husband and I booked a weekend at the Hamilton-Turner Inn for our anniversary. We live in Tallahassee, Florida, and the day before we were supposed to leave, Hurricane Michael landed. Long story short, our romantic anniversary getaway turned into a hurricane evacuation with our four-year-old. The manager and staff at the hotel could not have been nicer or more understanding of our situation.

We were impressed from the moment we walked in the front doors. The building is beautiful and has been tastefully decorated. The breakfast room is sunny and cheerful, and the living room is comfortable. Our room was downstairs and of a perfect size. It was quiet and peaceful.

While we spent a lot of time exploring beautiful Savannah, I could have spent most of every day at the hotel. Each morning, the breakfast was delicious. I loved that you don't order off a menu. In the early afternoon, they offered pastries. Before dinner, there is wine and hors d'oeuvres - and not just cheese slices and Ritz crackers, these were serious appetizers. After dinner they served fresh cookies and port.

The Hamilton-Turner Inn is more than a hotel. It really does feel like you're staying in the home of a family member - if your family just happens to include Martha Stewart. I cannot wait to stay here again, this time without a hurricane.

The Hamilton-Turner Inn was a late night overnight stay on our travels further south. Very trusting night staff quickly accommodated us with minutes to spare in order to find a late night meal at a nearby cafe. Our room was clean but small, and in close proximity to the laundry room that starts working very early in the morning. Our breakfast proved to be a feast fit for those with a hardy appetitie, well prepared and served with a touch of southern hospitality charm. Keep in mind an old charming inn has a grand staircase, but no elevator.

This bed and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. The house itself was beautiful, clean and ideally located. Coffee was available early every morning and the breakfasts were so delicious. There were snacks laid out every afternoon. We enjoyed the happy hour each day in the living room, which included complimentary wine and appetizers, and was a wonderful way to connect with other guests and share tips of the places we'd seen. We came back every evening to the aroma of freshly baked cookies and port for a wonderful finish to the day. All of the staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. We have stayed at many bed and breakfasts over the years, but this was by far the best. Thank you for a wonderful home away from home.
