Was looking for a place to hear good music, it was great-. Wonderful jazz had a wait for food, but with the music, you didn't notice. We were able to sit near each other-there were 12 of us in group.

My husband and I stumbled upon this jazz bar and decided to go in and try it out. What a find! The music was excellent - singer and musicians put on a great show. We ate in the downstairs bar so we could enjoy the live music so i can only rate the food on offer there rather than the upstairs restaurant.. I had the shrimp and chicken caesar salad, husband had burger and chips. For dessert I tried the peach cobbler and although there was too much pastry for my taste, it was still very tasty. It's not a cheap place but the music and ambiance make the place a 'must go'. The only thing that does surprise me is that it closes at 10pm. We come from just outside London and people often don't start going to jazz clubs until that time! So, make sure you get there early.

We wandered in on our first night in Savannah and heard wonderful jazz -- the Eric Jones trio, with trumpeter Kirk Lee. Wow! What a great discovery! A McCoy Tyner vibe, but still a sound all their own. Overall, as good as the Blue Note in NYC. Also had some of the oysters. Top notch food from a music bar? You bet! Liked everything so much, we went back in a few days for the Sunday Gospel brunch. Again, some mighty fine food. But most of all, the saxophone (plus other instruments) music of Darryl Anderson. Wish we had been in town long enough to go back!

Dinner was fantastic, just like New Orleans. Had charbroilled oysters and seafood gumbo. It was so good i felt like I was in New Orleans. Then the Jazz show after, what a great night! Highly recommend

We stayed in Savannah 4 nights and spent three in a row here. Loved, loved, loved it. Great music, okay drink selection but the music was great. Very sociable musicians at the end of the show. Please come check it out.
Oh yeah, great people watching too.
