My stay was AWESOME! I was in for a 2 day church event and the service was the best. I experienced a flat tire (not the hotels fault) things happen. But the front desk agent Jeremy helped us from beginning to end from AAA, to the tow truck to the car dealership. Jeremy handled himself so well and made us feel at ease. The general manager also spoke to our group to show his care and concern. The rooms were clean and breakfast was Delicious. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. I will definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Harbor with plenty of parking and restaurants around. The hotel room was amazing; spacious, comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. The bed was absolutely awesome and comfy. Lastly, the staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. I've already recommended this hotel to a friend of mine.

Room Tip: Get the suite!

The staff and the hotel are amazing. The beds felt like a slice of heaven!! The hotel has the feel of an authentic Baltimore building with a modern touch. We would definitely stay again! Because it is downtown Baltimore, parking is tricky. They have a valet service or you can find metered street parking. There is also a parking garage across the street. Its not part of the hotel so it isnt free. It was best for us to park in one place and take and uber/lyft to our other destinations.

Very pleasant stay. Property is in a great location, clean, quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was above average. Frankie was very hospitable and made checkout painless. Definitely will stay here again when I return to Baltimore.

We (me, my wife, our twins, and our big dog) stayed at the Staybridge for almost 2 weeks while my wife was at Johns Hopkins hospital. We stayed in a room with two queen beds. The value and location are unbeatable. Breakfast has plenty of choices and is very good, plus it's served everyday. Rooms are large with 15 ' - 20' ceilings, beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are large, and the kitchen area allows you to make a full meal. All appliances are stainless steel GE Profile, very high quality. Fridge and microwaves are full size, stove is two-burner and heats quickly, and each unit has a small sink and dishwasher and a good toaster and coffee maker.

Our first night we were booked into a room on the first floor. If you are a light sleeper, request a higher floor room. Street noise plus the tile floors in the main hall and the noise from the dining / social area gets loud early. We had to move and were assigned to a 4th floor room which was better.

Best features and amenities:
*Architecture, design, and decor of the building. Make sure to walk around all of the floors and look at all the great historic photographs.
*Location is 2 blocks from the inner harbor, close enough to walk to Federal Hill, Harbor East, Fells Point, and Hopkins Hospital (all within a mile to 1.2 miles). Easy to access free Charm City Circulator bus, Metro, city buses, and water taxis.
*Valet service is great and if staying > 4 nights price drops to $19.
*Hotel has a shuttle that runs every hour to/from Hopkins. About 50% reliable for on-time service (they forgot my shuttle booking to Hopkins on our last morning so I had to walk).
*Staff is great, especially the valets and the food service staff.
*Breakfast is amazing, and the social hour is essentially a full dinner and beer/wine served three nights a week M - W.
*Huge windows, comfortable beds, great shower, exceptional place for pets despite the limited grass downtown.
*Free laundry with three washers and 4-5 dryers, all free. We used it three times in two weeks. Very nice amenity.
*Workout room is fantastic as well, with treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, free weights and assisted weight machines.

The one major drawback of the hotel is the noise at night and early in the morning. The Staybridge building is right next to the Baltimore red light district where there are at least six strip clubs. We were woken up to screaming and yelling each Saturday night. Thursdays and Fridays were also loud. 1 block from the clubs sits the police headquarters so we often heard police and ambulance sirens that woke us up. Ear plugs and a white noise machine would take care of this. The hotel should offer them.

The area around the hotel is well lit and is monitored by closed-circuit cameras. We always felt safe despite quite a few homeless people and interesting characters always milling around. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a corner room that does not face Commerce or Custom House Avenue.
