This was an excellent stay and the surrounding streets easy to get around. Close to restaurants, stores, and city historical sites. Walking distance to restaurants. The bed and breakfast stay was great, relaxing, and friendly/great hostesses.

We were out back in the carriage house in the Gilmore room. Our room was small but was good for us. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was remodeled and the rain shower was great! Full breakfast every morning was delicious. Staff was great. Could walk to some restaurants. Convenient location to downtown Jacksonville. Good experience for us.

Perfect weekend! The Inn was located
close to downtown and riverside walk. Attended “ Hamilton” at performing arts center nearby. Great restaurants within walking distance. Inn owners and staff very friendly and helpful.
Will return in the future.

The beautiful, well appointed interiors make the Riverdale Inn seem like one is walking into a timeless, graceful, elegant Victorian manor house. Each room is wonderfully decorated with vintage and antique furniture; The Inn is absolutely spotless. You can tell that the owners and staff take pride in keeping such a lovely place immaculate.
The staff were beyond friendly, and extremely helpful when showing me places of interest/restaurants in the area-- on the printed hand-drawn map.
The extra touch of the "Honor System," should you care for a cocktail from the unmanned bar, only further adds to the all over graciousness of the Riverdale Inn.
I thoroughly enjoyed eating a delicious breakfast on the porch, as I watched the early morning joggers run by.
My only complaint: I wish I could have stayed longer at the Riverdale Inn.

What a great location. I was sad that my trip was just a quick overnight as I would have enjoyed exploring the area more. Walking the neighborhood was great.
Breakfast cheese grits were terrific!
