I saw this part of the battlefield with a LBG. It is a up a ways, it is a small hill. The monuments and features can be easily enjoyed. Wish I would have been able to have a specific tour from the Visitor's center. They do have an individual topic for that part of the battle.

The monuments were great and the rocks were really neat, everyone was climbing all over them. You get a great view from the big monument.

The first time we visited was during the bus tour. We returned via car to explore more on our own. By completing the bus tour first, we already knew the back story and the rationale for the movements, placement of monuments and the battle.

A wonderful spot to survey most of the Battlefield. A couple of memorials to the various units involved. Parking can be a problem as everyone thinks they have Wright to be there. And it gets packed when the big tour buses arrive.

Go first thing or last thing in the day to get a decent go at it. Alternatively, avoid weekends or holidays. A Thursday in December tends to be quiet, if a little cold.
