The Rittenhouse Hotel was a delight...it's wonderfully located. Rittenhouse Square park is directly across the street. Lots of very good restaurants within walking distance.. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was large and the bathroom was luxurious. We had breakfast every am at the hotel and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.
The Rittenhouse is a great luxury boutique in a great location. It is very close to the Reading Terminal Market, the Franklin Institute, the Liberty Bell and many other of Philadelphia's best sights.
My trips are 90% business and the Library Bar is the perfect place after a long day of appointments to unwind and get a great meal, that is casual, yet still world class. When I entertain clients, Scarpetta and Lacroix have never let me down in impressing clients with the quality of the food, drink and service.
The indoor pool is small, but it very nice and one reason I come back. I like to keep my morning swim workouts going as I travel.
Great location. The hotel is located in Rittenhouse Square. The staff was extremely friendly. We arrived at 11:00 am and though the check in time is 15:00, we got the room right away. The room was on the highest floor and was very spacious. We recommend!
We have traveled the world and this is one of the finest hotels we have enjoyed. Beautiful, well-appointed accommodations with all of the fine dining and amenities one would expect from such an establishment. The location is awesome too, right on a beautiful, tree covered park / square within easy waling distance to quality shopping and dining; Independence Hall; The Liberty Bell; many art museums; and of course, the "Rocky Steps". We'll be going back and staying there many times.
Everything about our stay at The Rittenhouse was top notch! The booking process was a breeze with a very attentive kind agent. The check in process was great, we were given cold waters and warm delicious cookies while we checked in. The room was beautiful and clean, the entire hotel smelled amazing! The concierge the next day was very helpful in booking activities, everyone in the valet department was kind and helpful. The only two restaurants we had the time to enjoy were Scarpetta and Lacroix for breakfast. Scarpetta was one of the best Italian dining experiences I have ever had, beautiful environment, kind staff, AMAZING food and drinks, 10 out of 10 meal. Lacroix for breakfast was a great follow up, kind staff, beautiful environment, wonderful food. I can not recommend this hotel enough, will absolutely be back and next time I will make sure to go for tea time in the afternoon, There was a woman expertly playing the harp that we enjoyed listening to from outside the tea room. Also, we took a tour of the spa and hair salon and gym, the staff there was also incredibly kind, the facility was beautiful and next time when we visit I plan to have more time for this amenity as well.
