Wrapped up a weekend here and it is a solid 4+ hotel, perhaps 4.25 - 4.5. Service is mostly good, particularly when discounted for being Philadelphia. Lobby is a bit underwhelming but not a huge issue. The breakfast was good not spectacular but you needed to make reservations even if a hotel guest. Not a rule, but functionally you did since it’s a small restaurant. But you can do room service as per normal hotel service.

One night there were protesters outside the hotel evidently protesting that the in-house restaurant (where the breakfast is also served) serves foie gras. Some people have far too much time on their hands. They were gone by an early hour so not terrible as far as protesters go. passed by them as we walked across Rittenhouse square to have a nice steak at Barclay Prime, which by the way is also deceased animal protein.

Hotel has excellent gym and swimming pool, with an outdoor deck area as well as a sauna and steam room and full spa. All of this is shared with the residences part of the facility. Good location, easily walkable to many Philadelphia sights. Good restos right on Rittenhouse Square like Parc, Rouge, and Barclay Prime, among others.

One facet I did not like is that it is a pet friendly hotel. Some may enjoy that. I don’t. Particularly with the small breed literally yapping all day immediately next door as we attempted to nap. Thankfully the thing shut up during evening hours.
Overall a good experience. Once can self park if driving in only a block away (among other places) for half the price of valet, if that interests you.
