Description: Conveniently located in the historic Bellevue on Broad St., adjacent to The Kimmel Center and 3 blocks from City Hall. At The Palm, our philosophy is simple: Treat guests like family, serve great food, and always exceed expectations. That philosophy was born in 1926, when Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the first Palm in New York City, sharing their commitment to quality and generosity of spirit with every guest who walked through their doors. What began as a restaurant became a legend -- a place to not only enjoy an excellent meal but also catch up with old friends, close business deals, and celebrate family milestones. Known for our Prime Aged Steak and Whole Nova Scotia Lobsters, the menu also includes our renowned Italian signature dishes, including Chicken Parmigiana and Veal Martini, as well as an award-winning wine list. We proudly continue our legacy of over 90 years as a favorite gathering place and dining destination for families, friends and business colleagues alike.

The Palm is one of my favorite restaurants in the City for steaks and specials. Since its renovation a year ago, it is more attractive. On a recent visit I was somewhat disappointed. A member of my party ordered the lobster tail. This was a large tail served on a white plate without any accompanying vegetables(every vegetable is a la carte). When the bill arrived, we were charged $80 for the tail! Only after questioning the price with the manager did they reduce the price by $20. While this taught me never to order a special again without asking the price, I think any restaurant that has a special more expensive than any other item on the menu ( by a lot), the staff should give you the price at the time of ordering.. the steaks were very good and the pricey a la carte vegetables were good. I find the wines overpriced so only order by the glass.
If you decide to dine at the Palm, be prepared to spend a healthy price!

We celebrated a 60th birthday at the Palm, and as usual, it was great. The staff was attentive, the food was great. Our only issue was that the person that shelled the lobster tableside was not very good and tore up a lot of the meat

Had a wonderful evening, we arrived early, Robert said they had a table, but we wanted to have a drink first and Robert said no issue our table would be waiting for us. Tracy took exceptional care of us at the bar, nice sense of humor and graciously put up with us. Koli our waiter provided the best of service, and the GM Julie checked on us frequently. Really a fun and enjoyable evening.

Warm and welcoming for our pre show dinner. Our server Corrin was friendly and knowledgeable. The Steak was great as was the Manhattan. All in all a great night out on Broad street.

We were hoping that after they opened and heard the cries of patrons from the past...changes would have been made.
They changed the size of the Martini glasses, will not split their famous chicken Parmesan. Not liking the shared bathroom...ugh! Really?!!! For such a classy place...there is a few generations other than milenials who do prefer bathroom privacy.
