The valet was super friendly and helpful in guiding walking directions in the city as well as local recommendations. Phil was especially the best! Returning to the hotel to retire for the evening, Phil went the extra mile and brought up the phone to our room when we left it in the car.
However, not everyone was as welcoming, there was a gentleman working at the front desk at the time of check in and was not helpful in explaining the clarification of the valet vs self park options when calling the hotel 10min before arriving at the property. Once we arrived at the front desk, after check in with a very nice lady, I had inquired about the clarification regarding the parking as my question was not answered over the phone. The Gentleman next to her asked if I was the person that just called about the question the procedes to respond with a scoff, eye roll , and says something along the lines of what is so hard to understand what valet parking is.
After checking into the hotel room, the housekeeping team was wonderful and the room was clean and spotless.
The TV in the room was experiencing signal trouble during our stay and making popping noises. When we reported to front desk, the engineer came in 10-15 minutes and attempted to troubleshoot but was unfortunately left unresolved.
We also order room service and the food was cooked wonderfully and delivered early than scheduled :)
Unfortunately due to the feeling at check in by a rude greeting from the gentleman at the front desk plus the issue with the TV this stay was average.
