Great choice altogether! Will be back.

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 1 Nov 2024
Spent a couple extra days in the city following a week long business event. The Westin has always been a reliable choice, also here in Philly! Room was spacious, comfortable as one would expect from The Westin. Location is super convenient. Bar food & drinks were great, staff friendly - minor remark would be that the bar service was a bit slow at times; due to understaffing I believe. Would not hesitate booking here again when back in Philadelphia.

Room Tip: Great choice! You won't regret.

The valet was super friendly and helpful in guiding walking directions in the city as well as local recommendations. Phil was especially the best! Returning to the hotel to retire for the evening, Phil went the extra mile and brought up the phone to our room when we left it in the car.

However, not everyone was as welcoming, there was a gentleman working at the front desk at the time of check in and was not helpful in explaining the clarification of the valet vs self park options when calling the hotel 10min before arriving at the property. Once we arrived at the front desk, after check in with a very nice lady, I had inquired about the clarification regarding the parking as my question was not answered over the phone. The Gentleman next to her asked if I was the person that just called about the question the procedes to respond with a scoff, eye roll , and says something along the lines of what is so hard to understand what valet parking is.

After checking into the hotel room, the housekeeping team was wonderful and the room was clean and spotless.

The TV in the room was experiencing signal trouble during our stay and making popping noises. When we reported to front desk, the engineer came in 10-15 minutes and attempted to troubleshoot but was unfortunately left unresolved.

We also order room service and the food was cooked wonderfully and delivered early than scheduled :)

Unfortunately due to the feeling at check in by a rude greeting from the gentleman at the front desk plus the issue with the TV this stay was average.

Thank you for your recent visit to The Westin Philadelphia. I'm glad you enjoyed your room, valet service, Housekeeping service, and our in room dining. I'm terribly sorry that your interaction with one of our team members regarding vale was not up to our standards. I stayed here overnight with one of my friends. She is in a wheelchair and we booked one of the ADA accessible rooms. The Westin thought of everything for her - from a wide entryway to the room, a flush shower that made getting in a breeze, and a bench for getting dressed. This room was just what she needed. If you need a wheelchair accessible room, I highly recommend this hotel.

Quick one night trip for work and decided on the Westin because it was closest to where I neededto be the next dya. I got in very late at night and my room was turned down which is always a nice touch after a LONG travel day. I was really impressed with the size of the room and also how comfy the bed was! The location was great, you can walk to everything. Nice area of the city with lots of great resturants and shopping close by.

Well priced and comfortable. The room was fairly large, with an excellent bed and sofa. I liked the location, 20 minutes walk to the station and about the same to the museums. I didn't eat there but very friendly bar service. Will return next time.

This hotel is in a great location right in city center. This used to be the old Ritz Carlton. We only stayed here one night. The room was comfortable and the bed super cozy. Other than our initial check in to the hotel the stay was nice. Ana in the breakfast room was super friendly & and great server. I would definitely consider this property again on my next stay in downtown Philly.
