Great atmosphere!!!! Will was the best bartender!!!! We went there the first night because our hotel bar was packed!!!! Will made the best drinks, provided engaging conversation and the best recommendations on the area!!! We will be stopping back there every time we are in Philly!!!!
This hotel could use some updating. Elevators looked old and worn, as did some of the fixtures in the room. I ordered room service for breakfast and it showed up in cardboard takeout containers loaded into a brown bag, which was handed to me at the door. I’d say overall the hotel was “fine” but not quite the quality I’d normally stay in for business travel.
My wife and I spent three very enjoyable nights here. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Easy walking distance to many local attractions. We were excited to experience the food in Philadelphia. As it turned out Square 1682 right in the hotel was fantastic. And the service was very good - special shout to Will in the restaurant.
I LOVED this hotel! Staff was great, the restaurant and bar were fantastic (BEST FRENCH FRIES you can eat and awesome cocktails). The room was clean, tall ceilings, spacious, great location, within walking distance of restaurants and shops. But the BED was one of the best hotel beds I have ever experienced. The mattress and pillows were firm!!! Better than pillows that start that way and flatten into nothingness. I wanted for nothing at this hotel and would highly recommend.
Really underwhelmed. No help from the doorman. They don't open the door or help with the luggage. The lobby is dark, I guess they think it is hip but it just seems odd. There is an automatic $28.00 charge added. You can get a $20.00 credit on food and drink in their restaurant or use it to get items from the minibar that is behind the check-in desk. We didn't eat at the restaurant so we got 3 items from the minibar and that used all the $20. The rooms were small and noting special. For the price of the room and the reviews I expected so much more. I wont be staying here again.
