When we arrived at 3pm there was no one on the desk. The one person working was helping unload luggage, we found out. The lobby flooring was filthy. The attached restaurant was expensive and staff were inattentive. The 33rd floor hallway looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. It even had a piece of glass on it. Our room was ho hum. Large, but the toilet was loose and tilted, the bathroom door handle was almost unattached, the cupboard doors dragged and squeaked, the desktop was chipped and stained, one of the lamps was unplugged and difficult to plug back in because it was under the desk and there was already so much plugged into the socket, and the pillow was dirty. When I had staff up in the morning to show them some of these issues, it took 20 mins for someone to come. They did finally credit a small portion of the bill back. Oh, and for a hotel this expensive don't expect free Wi-Fi. This is a nickel and dime experience, with the hotel out for every dime. You could go to Motel 6 and have a better experience.
