Hotel Belleclaire a true gem

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 20 Jun 2024via mobile
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Belleclaire. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our family of 5 really enjoyed the connecting rooms, which was the initial reason we selected this hotel. Having a daily allowance to the French bakery downstairs was fantastic bonus. The close proximity to the metro was very convenient- can’t beat the location. We certainly will stay here again.

If you want a hotel in New York City which offers great service, comfortable newly renovated rooms, solid amenities in one of the city’s best neighborhoods, this is the place for you. From the bellmen, to the front desk, to the maid service and maintenance staff, everyone is friendly and helpful. After a short stay you will know Veronica, Shanies, Marc and rest of the staff by their first names. The hotel has a fabulous French Bakery, Mille Feuille, and restaurant/bar, Allure, attached which provide an easy and relaxing start and end to your business or tourist day. The hotel is a few short blocks from both Riverside and Central Park in a neighborhood dotted with great restaurants, bars, and shops. Give this hotel a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Hotel Belleclaire is a gorgeous little hotel in a brilliant neighbourhood location with access to the subway, parks, cafes, restaurants and all NYC has to offer.

The rooms are spotless, thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team. Comfortable beds and pillows ensure a great night's sleep. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the doormen made us feel like we were returning home.

Maria, who works at reception, is the best of the best. When we requested a room change, she went out of her way to ensure we were happy with our new accommodation. Her genuine care and attention meant a lot to us.

Continental breakfast at the bakery is great, the only downside being the long queue in the morning.

We will definitely return.

This is a great hotel. Benedict and Veronica, at the front desk, took excellent care of us and were always very welcoming. The cafe and restaurant vouchers were a great addition as well! Location was perfect, walking distance to subway stations, plenty of yummy restaurants, museums, central park, river walks, and so much more.

Only downside, is the family room only had one bathroom, and for a family of six it was a bit tight! We made it work though :). Next time we'll plan to get adjoining rooms, which we would have done, but the hotel was fully booked.

Highly recommend!

I stayed at Hotel Belleclaire for 6 nights while visiting family on the Upper West side. My entire experience at the Belleclaire was great. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and patient, even in the face of multiple demands from many guests. My room, though not luxurious, was clean, very comfortable, and incredibly quiet. I slept better at the Belleclaire than at any of the much more expensive hotels I've stayed at in NYC (nice bed and bedding!). Coupons for the bakery next to the hotel made breakfast easy (and the croissants are yummy). I'll definitely stay again and recommend the Belleclaire to my friends.
