A gem on the Upper Westside

Hotel Belleclaire is a gorgeous little hotel in a brilliant neighbourhood location with access to the subway, parks, cafes, restaurants and all NYC has to offer.

The rooms are spotless, thanks to the wonderful housekeeping team. Comfortable beds and pillows ensure a great night's sleep. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the doormen made us feel like we were returning home.

Maria, who works at reception, is the best of the best. When we requested a room change, she went out of her way to ensure we were happy with our new accommodation. Her genuine care and attention meant a lot to us.

Continental breakfast at the bakery is great, the only downside being the long queue in the morning.

We will definitely return.

NYC trip

This is a great hotel. Benedict and Veronica, at the front desk, took excellent care of us and were always very welcoming. The cafe and restaurant vouchers were a great addition as well! Location was perfect, walking distance to subway stations, plenty of yummy restaurants, museums, central park, river walks, and so much more.

Only downside, is the family room only had one bathroom, and for a family of six it was a bit tight! We made it work though :). Next time we'll plan to get adjoining rooms, which we would have done, but the hotel was fully booked.

Highly recommend!

A great experience at an affordable price

I stayed at Hotel Belleclaire for 6 nights while visiting family on the Upper West side. My entire experience at the Belleclaire was great. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and patient, even in the face of multiple demands from many guests. My room, though not luxurious, was clean, very comfortable, and incredibly quiet. I slept better at the Belleclaire than at any of the much more expensive hotels I've stayed at in NYC (nice bed and bedding!). Coupons for the bakery next to the hotel made breakfast easy (and the croissants are yummy). I'll definitely stay again and recommend the Belleclaire to my friends.

Exceptional stay

We do travel a lot, but staying at Belleclaire was our best experience ever! It was like going home. Exceptional welcome by a handwritten card, incredible professionalism, and warmth of the front desk staff - every question answered, every need met, every direction given. We would particularly like to thank a true jewel of the team- Joelle. Her smile, care, and a hand- made farewell card made our stay at Belleclaire a very very special indeed. We can not thank everyone enough. Next time in NYC- we will be coming home to Belleclair :) .

Shanies at front desk was awesome!!

Shanies at the front desk was awesome! So helpful and kind. Helped me figure out my reservation when there was some initial confusion. My room was tiny and looked half finished it was so sparse, but got the job done. Cafe can get crowded in the morning so get there early!
