We were so impressed with this venue after attending a wedding and day-after-wedding brunch. Food and service were perfect. Outdoor spaces made a big difference. Bar scene is lively and inventive. A great find.

While this is not a budget hotel I would highly recommend this hotel if you can afford it. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but very quaint and lovely. The Gemma restaurant was very good and the service was excellent. I would stay here again even though it's pricey.

The ground floor and the lift are almost in the dark, but it adds a special ambiance to the place.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious with two windows an the bathroom was nice.
Interesting nabourhood with many good restaurants and shopping opportunities.
All in all a very nice stay which we enjoyed.
Hope to come back.

The problem with hotels in New York are they are either very corporate or so small that one can hardly move. The Bowery was a very pleasant surprise for us and we have stayed in many New York Hotels. From the great service at the door and desk, to the beautiful lobby and finally a room that was comfortable and with windows that did not look into the next next building, this hotel was great.

Room Tip: my guess is higher floor and away from Bowery Ave if possible....but not a problem

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything was impeccable, from the lobby to the room. Even the elevators and the room key were beautiful. An adorable, very cuddly stuffed bear was mine to snuggle with during my stay and the bathroom was amazing. Every detail of the bathroom was actually designed with the person using it in mind....the faucet was located away from the shower head for easy access and use and the towels were hanging on three separate arms that swung out independently of each other, again for easy access. The service was perfect and even our breakfast was a close match for one of my other favorite NYC restaurants. I can't wait for another opportunity to immerse myself in the relaxing luxury of this wonderful hotel.
