This theatre is part of the Marriot Marquis Theatre, just outside of Times Square. Its easy to access, even though you need to go inside the hotel. Seats are all comfortable and the theatre is just the right size, not too small or big. Sound was great and we sat in the balcony, with a good view of the stage. Unlike some other theatre's, we did not feel like we were sitting too high and instead, we had a good view of the stage and the sound was very good.

Theatre in the heart of times square. Theatre clean, seats good and very nice sound system. You are not at a real Jimmy Buffet concert (no fin to the left, right by the audience and every one stays seated) but Escape to Margaritaville is just a lively fun broadway experience. Nothing serious, just fun

We were staying at the Marriott Marquis and were able to get tickets to pre-release show. As Buffett music fans we wanted to see how good the show was. Clearly it was not like going to a Buffett concert (we have attended several), but they did a great job blending Jimmy Buffett's songs into a fun and coherent plot. It mixed good music, some good laughs and good Caribbean scenery (sets). We really enjoyed the musical, and were especially excited that during then cast encore, Jimmy Buffett showed up to sing Margaritaville with the cast.

This is a fun show, if you enjoy the music you will enjoy the show.

Saw Escape to Margaritaville at the Marquis Theatre today. The show was Absolutely Awesome. The cast was fantastic. The Best Show I have ever seen. Jimmy Buffet joined the cast on stage for the last song. Nice touch. Paul Alexander Nolan as Tully and Alison Luff as Rachel were excellent in their rolls. Do not miss this show.

Awesome play in a spectacular unpretentious venue. I was so very impressed by not only the play (saw the preview before it opens on Broadway) but the venue and the staff at the Marquis. The outer theater was fully decked out in Buffet-ish decor to include adirondack chairs, surf boards, etc... The staff of the theater were helpful and welcoming to include a great sense of humor. Only complaint is that the theater is not handicap friendly with lots of smaller stair cases that were challenging for many of those in attendance. Love that drinks were allowed in the theater-of course Margaritas!
