Description: Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977. We opened when the neighborhood was still very rough , and quickly became THE brasserie to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away. We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hanging out after the show on any given night. We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme. The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, hamburgers and an extensive breakfast. We have also added a selection of savory and sweet crepes to our dining choices.

Our group of six was seated comfortably at a round table making conversation possible. However, as the restaurant became more crowded, the noise level became uncomfortable. Since this was a matinee day the crowd may have been larger than usual. The food was good and served nicely by a pleasant staff.

Greeting at the door was very personable, service after that was good enough. However the food had no consistency, including a very poor Cajun dish. Lots of pre-theatre patrons, hope they had a better experience.

Went there for a quick dinner. Service is very attentive and the waiters are kind and knowledgeable.
Loved the onion soup which I strongly recommend. Prices are on the high side but location is great.

When we are in New York, we always have a meal here! Staff is great and it’s a fun lively place! The bar is good and wine choices ample. Our table really liked the steak and chicken dishes along with cream brûlée! Sitting by window gives feeling of outside! We will return.

We stumbled upon this restaurant because we were staying at the Premier Times Square Hotel next door.

As the name implies, this restaurant has a string French theme which is reflected in the menu. For dinner, a "must have" is the onion soup. The Peking Duck sandwich is outstanding.

We liked the restaurant so much, we went there for breakfast on several occasions and found the food to be tasty and the portions sizeable.

The service was surprisingly good for New York City!!

If you are near Times Square, this is a great place to eat.
