The diner is regarded as one of the best theme restaurants in New York. The 1950s-themed eatery is home to its singing waitstaff known as (”Stardusters”). Ellen’s Stardust Diner has since served as the launching pad for many of its waiters/vocalists who have gone on to success in Broadway musicals and touring companies, domestic & international. It’s good fun here! Some of the staff can sing, and will undoubtedly make it on to broadway, but some were awful! We enjoyed it though! The food was great! I had the breakfast burrito, fantastic!

Forget the 45-minute queue – the real punishment here is what arrives on your plate. "ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING" doesn’t even begin to describe it. I'm no stranger to overpriced meals that leave my wallet crying, but this place redefines daylight robbery with a side of burnt fries.

The food? A culinary tragedy. Overcooked fries that taste like cardboard left out in the rain, and the rest of the menu looks and tastes like it came from a microwave circa 1995. The service? Let’s just say it would make any Karen's day – dismissive, slow, and somehow condescending.

This place doesn’t just take the mickey; it kidnaps it, demands a ransom, and still leaves you hungry. Save yourself the time, money, and therapy bills. NYC has so much to offer – this place is not it.

Entertainment excellent singing waiting staff fab singers & were both extremely professional & friendly. Sadly the food was a disappointment. Waffles were so overcooked they weren’t edible & pancakes thick, however the milkshakes were nice. Worth visiting for the live entertainment if you are in Time Square.

I was on a tour that started and ended at this location, and I'd heard it was a "must see", so I got in line for lunch. Luckily because I was solo and willing to sit at the bar I only waited about 5 minutes. It's a neat idea, and the talent of the performers was great, but it was a solid "meh" from me. Really it was loud, the service I got at the bar was not great, the food was way over priced and not good, I think I ate maybe 1/4 of my burger and fries meal.
The history was neat, but that's about all it had going for it.
