Really fun evening, had to queue for a while as it's very popular. The food was good. The waiters were fantastic performers and their policy of funding their performance training through tips is very worthy

I had been here before several years ago, but brought my partner here for the first time last week. We had an absolute blast!
The service is a little slow, but when you watch how hard they are working to juggle table service, while providing incredible entertainment to the visitors, it is very much understandable.
This place is definitely worth the wait.
Don’t be too intimidated by the lineup. It was down the street when we arrived, but we were in and seated at a table in 20 minutes.

I have always wanted to visit Ellen’s and am so glad I got a chance to see the performing waitstaff!

We queued for around 20 mins as they don’t take bookings. We loved the interior and the diner feel of the place. All the staff were welcoming and so hardworking, not to mention the talent of every single one of them. Although the focus is the entertainment, the food and drink were decent but don’t expect to come here for fine dining - that’s not what it’s about.

Top 5 must do’s in NYC, you have to visit this place at least once in your lifetime.

Food was good, but like other NYC food was expensive, 4/5. The atmosphere and singing were great and enjoyable by all in our party, even our kids.
