For our four night stay in New York, there was nothing shouting out to us in Broadway. We were recommended Ellen's stardust diner as a fun and food-frenzied alternative.
Service: We got there fairly early but despite that we ended up queuing for nearly two hours. Frustratingly staff would come out regularly asking for people who were in groups of fours or sixes which actually meant people behind us kept skipping ahead of us. In the end, we were starving and just accepted being sat at the bar on high stools just to get inside.
Drinks: the chocolate milkshake looked grandiose but it was as if I was drinking air; there was simply no substance to it
Food: quality was cheap, misshapen and by far the worst food we sampled in New York. I think my school dinners tasted better and we left with most of the food uneaten.
Vibe: the atmosphere in fairness is brimming with energy and the staff who sing are fantastic and engaging; they deserve the utmost praise.
Value: for the queuing time and the high price of food, this proved an abysmal value for money
