We loved this apartment! Close enough too Times Square you could walk and Hell’s Kitchen was right down the street! You definitely need the blow up mattresses if anyone sleeps in the living room. We had the best time hanging out on roof top! Views were amazing! We just didn’t have any wash clothes or hand towels so be sure to take your own but towels were provided. I would definitely stay there again! Much better than staying in a hotel room! We got there before check in time but Amy let us come up too the apartment and hang out till she was done cleaning. She was so sweet!
I have read below reviews and totally endorse all comments , except we had coffee liners and left some and smaller machine was fine, bedroom carpet needs a shampoo
The apartment met and exceeded our expectations
The blinds were never closed
Lying in bed at midnight with a skyline view was divine
Not noisy , close to everything, do try Decimo ( Nya a the waitress is a treat)and Taboon both excellent
We were lucky to have a food festival weekend one block away!
The rooftop was such a bonus
Washing machine etc worked well
Tonnes of cleaning stuff towels etc very well equipped
The below photos were taken over our eight night stay from bedroom from roof at sunrise on our last day
and we already have friends who want to book this little gem
Thank you Samuel for a fabulous time to remember
This rental was perfect for me and two colleagues during a weekend training in midtown. We walked twenty minutes to our venue through streets full of shops, restaurants, bars, theaters, and food trucks, finding everything we needed for our stay within easy walking distance. The bed was comfortable memory foam and there was a high quality air mattress in the living room that was long enough for a tall man to sleep comfortably. We enjoyed having a coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave in the full kitchen, although the larger coffee maker did not work right and the smaller one only makes four cups. We had to buy coffee filters, the basket type. The view from the roof is incredible! Overall a great value. Will try to rent again for future trainings.
Could not fault this apartment, from walking through the door and seeing that view,my wife and I were taken in straight away. This was our third visit to NY wished we had found this gem a little sooner, the apartment was well equipped, plenty of storage space in bedroom with a very comfortable bed.The location is ideal with plenty of bars, restaurants, deli's and shops. Our taxi pickup to JFK airport was at 3pm so the rooftop terrace was the ideal place to sit and wait.
Great views from the apartment - Samuel’s pictures really understate it’s location.
Bed seems to have a memory foam topper added since previous reviews describing it as uncomfortable - it was fine for us. My son said the pull out couches were also fine. There were plenty of towels sheets and blankets in the apartment.
The roof garden - holy moley. I was worried that there might be some loophole where it would be packed or not accessible to us - it’s open from 6:00am to 12 midnight. It has magical views of manhattan skyline on one side and the river and cruise shops on the other - not to mention the sunset. But also easily available to us when we stayed there. We ordered pizza in and the family sat up there with wine and soft drinks amazed by the view. Food orders came directly to the apartment by the way after ordering online on certain food ordering websites or ringing directly to whatever restaurants we wanted. Had a few breakfasts up there to. Unbelievable. Really. Sitting there with orange juice and cereal - is there any hotel that offers this?
The apartment is a 3 minute walk from a great D’agostinos supermarket - even had kerrygold butter. Also some nice family owned places nearby which weren’t as well stocked but were very friendly and they’d chat to you etc, making you feel very welcome. That’s another thing; area very safe and welcoming; even the very few so called “street people” with substance abuse issues kept to themselves and did their own thing. People were very nice and courteous. Moms with strollers would nod and smile when they met us. Locals would suggest what they thought were better coffee shops etc - so the NY abrasive attitude we were told to expect was not seen once.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen - huge fridge freezer gas cooker and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Very spacious walk in wardrobe in the bedroom and storage closet in the kitchen area. Apartment was super clean as we can be fussy about that - though the carpet in the bedroom shows signs of wear - it’s such a small detail but I feel I should say something negative do as to sound balanced. The apartment is on the 18th floor which is why the views are so good. Really safe as we had a 3 year old with us. So no worries about balconies etc; windows are openable with a safety feature so you can get a nice cool breeze without having to worry about children’s safety.
It’s about 15 minutes walk from Times Square and similar distance to Central Park so a brilliant location.
Arrival was super simple - We rang a number provided by Stephen and a really nice young guy called Kay magically appeared as we got out of the taxi and ten minutes later he had finished the tour of the building and we had the place to ourselves - so easier check in than a hotel (check out was just super simple too, they tell you what to do). So on the whole a wonderful experience. No disappointments.
