Highly recommend, amazing and unique!

Wow! What an amazing unique place! We were lucky enough to have king rooms located on the 10th floor one of which was a corner room with amazing views over the city!! Loved the drinks available in the morning it was all allocated so no one misses out! Only thing I would ask for is a vegan pastry as 3 out of our party of 4 was vegan. We did enquire but not available. The rooms are spotless, beds super comfortable. Loved the artwork in the alleyway, location amazing, always felt safe. Would definitely book again!!

Wow, I don't know where to start.
Actually, it's easy: I arrived to the address. No signs, nothing.
Lots of graffiti in the street and then I found the alley.
It was all decorated with graffiti and led to a door that looked as a side door, but it was the path to the lobby.
Everything looks very simple, but VERY smart.
Amazing welcome by one of the two stuff, and btw, I saw few people at the lobby and all were very welcoming and happy to assist.😃
The plans of the building, instructions along the rooms and the hallway are done beautiful.
Very inviting lobby which was followed by a very large room used as the breakfast, relaxing, hanging, cafe... location.
There was a small outside garden, but was too hot to enjoy it.👍
Even the elevator has a charm: the walls covered with stickers, but I didn't see anything with politics. I like it .
The room was already cold, very spacious, very convenient and had everything.
Bathroom had a shower and everything organized very smart.
The location was also a sur5, as there so much to do within walking distance, subway is 7 minutes walk and even Katz's Deli is few minutes walk 🙂.
I'm glad friends refered me because I wouldn't know of it, definitely from outside.
I strongly recommend the place.
Don't miss it when you're in NYC.

What a great little hotel! In one of my favorite neighborhoods, I loved the entrance full of street art leading up to the hotel, was so fun...and someone was doing a live mural on one of the days I stayed there last week. Such a unique piece of NY Culture. There is also an amazing little tattoo shop inside. Was able to fit one in during my business trip. They collaborated with me on the design I was thinking, and it came out great! Will definitely be staying here again. Such a great neighborhood central to so many walkable destinations!

Room tip: there is no closet or drawers here, but they do give you hangers and there are hooks on the wall. It was not difficult to make it work

Interesting location, really well placed for Lil’Idally, Soho & Noho & all they have to offer. We felt so taken care of, despite a few issues with our reservation which were swiftly & sympathetically resolved. We enjoyed THE most spectacular view at the top of the hotel . The only disappointment was being denied access to the rooftop bar owing to a private event taking priority over guests, which felt contrary to the relaxed spirit of the place. Free fresh breakfast pastries could be better complimented by less bitter coffee! Otherwise great.

Room tip: Choose a room higher up the building & expect to be taken of via efficient text.

Perfect location to explore NYC. I loved the vibe and the arty style of the hotel.
Small but very functional and clean room and friendly staff at the reception.
Free coffee and a pastry in the morning - what more can you ask for..................

This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend for anyone seeking an affordable place to crash in a safe environment. The alley provides so much character. They are genius in how they utilize every inch of space. Water provided on every floor. Complementary drink and pastry in the morning is wonderful! The neighborhood is average with easy access to the subway/bus. Plenty of food within walking distance. I'll definitely stay again and from others checking in it seemed possible to get a room same day without reservations.
