Empire tours I applaud you, my trip was organized to every detail visiting the "falls was outstanding, the stop off in Glen state park was very nice also, Jonathan our tour guide was great, strict about us following rules and times but was very respectful in doing so, our bus driver Harold was great also interacting with everyone and was a safe driver(thanks) the hotel Ramada inn was beyond expectations, very nice, continental breakfast was very nice just a little note to travelers it's ok to tip the lady who prepared this or you I enjoyed all the walks but the best was of course " The Maid of the Mist" I stayed on the Canada side so if you do visit Clifton Hill it's really entertaining with great dining options and you can walk down the street a lil ways to see the falls illuminated in lights at night, if visiting soon make sure to wrap up very chilly, again i applaud empire vacation thank you!!! Btw you also get to go to a outlet for a lil shopping on the way back, and the meal stops were great.

Nice relaxing. Day out. A bit boring once in Washington. Mostly on the bus. Would not do again. The Lincoln Memorial and the Cementary were the best part of the trip

This was a very long bus ride but so worth it. The guide was great, hotel comfortable and just the right amount of time to view the falls. The bus does need better wifi so make sure you have your music and movies downloaded as you will need them & take a small travel pillow.

The ride on the Maid of the mist was amazing to get up close to the falls-be prepared to get a little damp.

The shopping on me way home is excellent so take your cash or card so much to but not enough time to get it all - speed shopping at its finest. :)

You need to have good mobility to do the amount of walking that occurs.

Overall a must to do as photos do not do this place justice.

We just got back from the Philly and Amish tour and it was one of the best days of our lives. You get to go to the Liberty Bell, Rocky statue and steps, stop off for a Philly cheese steak, go to Betsy Ross house and the oldest residential street in America.

We then went to an Amish village for a buggy rude and to have ice cream and buy souvenirs. That was definitely the best part.

The bus collects you from 8th Avenue and returns you there. The guide, Irene, was very nice. The reason you don’t get much time at each stop is because you get to see so much at many different places and there wouldn’t be time to see it all if you spent longer.

The front of the bus was reserved for Italians, although they do actually have an Italian tour bus they can go on. Then English, Chinese and German. This was so the guides could talk to them in their own languages.

All in all I highly recommend this tour

I had a 20% discount due to my Hilton honours membership.

It was a big bus that seated about 30 people. You would think this was comfortable. The seating was divided so the German speakers sat in front, then the English speakers. The Japanese were in the middle and Spanish at the back. When all the guides talked, it was a cacophony and difficult to hear. I was unfortunate to sit in front of a Japanese group that talked non-stop throughout the journey.

Disappointed the Chinatown tour was a drive through the Main Street. There were no stop despite the itinerary indicting it was a stop.

Enjoyed the Amish part of the tour. Noted that a sign for tips was on the buggy ride. Saw some beautiful bed spread quilts, nothing less than US$900. The jam spreads, relishes, pickles, etc from the Jam & Relish Kitchen were extensive. Lots of tasting was available. Bought a few bottles.

I had a lovely bowl of hot soup at the Corner Coffee Shop.

Tips was mentioned at the end of the tour. Don’t guides and bus drivers get paid here?

There was a good balance of walking and free time. Quite enjoyable.

Booked a day trip to Philly and Amish Country through Citystate but I discovered that it was operated by Empire Vacatiions .

Jonathan was our tour guide . He was a gem
in providing a succinct history of the founding fathers of the US before we reached Philly , providing very useful context so that we can appreciate the historic tour better . He also did the groundwork about the Amish and was both considerate and thoughtful in sharing the Dos and Donts with the group .

I enjoyed the tour thoroughly , highly recommend it to anyone .
