We had lovely 4 days in the apartment. Subway, grocery stores, great bagel place :), Central Park... everything really close by. Thanks again!
The apartment is not huge but it is very close to the subway and two minutes from Central park, shops and bars. There is adequate room for 6 good friends and a good kitchen with a huge fridge and loads of kit.
We are French, we stay 11 nights in this appartment . It was convenient for 5 persons, it was very clean, and well located (Subway, central park, food storekeepers very closely...)
I was easy to contact athena by mail and she already answer.
The bathroom has a correct size for a family and not problem with hot water for 5 showers / day !
a fully-equipped kitchen with enough dishes, pans... a large refrigerator..
Air-conditioning was available in tne two rooms and the blower motor was enough powerful to cool the living room and the kitchen,

We stayed almost two weeks in the apprtment of Athena. It is a good place to stay when visiting New York with your family. It is clean, close to the subway, supermarkets and Central Park, with a good kitchen and bathroom. It is somewhat small and dark (as most affordable places in NY are), but when you're most of the time away that is not a problem. As said before, it is really a good place to stay.
We had a wonderful 10 days stay in Athena's apartment. Athena is a very responsive host. She reacts very quickly to email during the reservation process. And in general, she is very friendly and helpful.
The description of the apartment was accurate and Athena
welcomed us even though we had a late check-in time.
She gave us some good advice about what to do in the city and it really helped enhance our stay. It is important to note that Athena does not live far from the apartment so in case there is a problem you can rely on her to act promptly. And last but not least, she speaks French, which came in handy since we are from Paris. The 103rd subway stop is half a mile so it is a short walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and there is a lot of shops and amenities nearby. The baguette and croissant addicts will find solace in the local bakery, "La Toulousaine" (5 minute walk to 942 Amsterdam Ave). Central Park is just at the end of the street (3 minute walk). I will recommend this place to my friends. And I will book again for my next stay in New York.
