Everything here is perfect. Makes you feel at peace when you wake up in the morning near the battery Park city Rocco across the street and the water is there with the most beautiful views and walkways. Filtered water system in room with many glasses to choose from along with a separate living room for guest, which is pure comfort

There is a lot going for this hotel, which I stayed at based upon a Head for Points recommendation.

It is an all suite hotel. I had a lovely room with a walk in shower, good amenities, comfortable bed. The location is fantastic. In the summer, you can sit by the Hudson, watching the world go by or head over to the Mall or onto the Metro.

The hotel is also clean, the lobby area is spacious and airy. The concierge staff are lovely to chat to.

There was however, room for improvement.

1. The lobby is by some escalators, I am not sure what the role of the staff by the door is, but I was never offered help with my bags or in getting a taxi.

2. The food in the restaurant is ok, but not great, but the pricing is high and therefore you expect something in return. This relates to both breakfast and dinner, with the menu being quite limited. Even though I had a loyalty room credit of $25 dollars per day, this was no where near sufficient to get breakfast.

3. There is a water filter in the room, which is a great idea and is really good for getting drinking water, but why can't it produce chilled water? That isn't a particularly difficult technological step, many machines can do this with ease. My fridge was locked and there was nowhere else to chill water.

4. As I was undressing to take a shower, and had my privacy button on, a member of staff knocked on the door and asked to change the locking mechanism. I explained that I was trying to take a shower and had to persist quite firmly in order to be able to take my shower in peace ( I only had limited time left in the room and was heading to the airport). Surely, my privacy light being on was a good reason not to be disturbed and that my needs as a guest in a room I had paid for outweighed their maintenance schedule?

This is our new favorite hotel in Manhattan. The location in Battery Park is beautiful and it feels like an oasis in the city. The staff were amazing - kind, attentive and always aiming to please. Shout outs to James and Lori at the front desk. Being Hilton Diamond members, we were upgraded to a room with a view of the Hudson River. The amenities were wonderful, too. Honestly, this is one of those rare stays where we weren’t looking forward to going home.

We’ve stayed at the Conrad midtown, which was also wonderful. But the Conrad Downtown is unique and less frenzied. Really incredible and close to mass transit for an easy ride uptown. You can even take the ferry to 39th street for $4!

Don’t think twice. Stay here. 😊

Room tip: If you have a choice between a room with a bath, and a room with the view of the Hudson, take the view!

This was our 1st time as a Diamond Member & we were celebrating our 48th Anniversary. We were upgraded to a beautiful King Suite w view of the Hudson River & surprised w a delivery of chocolate covered strawberries & 2 bottles of Perrier water! The card was sweetly written by Stephanie, Katie & Team! We felt so special & will definitely come back - thank you Conrad Hilton!

Room tip: Not much signage on outside or inside (have to look, like only picture of elevator up/down)

Really great staff - from the front desk to the restaurants, I really appreciated everyone. The food was great. Cool lounge. Great location.

I had to change rooms 2x - once was because the blinds were closed and wouldn't open. We would have to be in the dark if we stayed there.

My review is really based on the room design and how impractical it was. So there are 2 choices of rooms - regular or accessible. Regular is just that - no grab bars in the shower, nothing. So when you're traveling with an ambulatory elderly person, you have to think about safety. The only alternative was accessible which literally was designed for wheelchairs. The room itself, bed comfort, etc great. But what's the point of having an accessible bathroom when there is water everywhere and a total fall hazard? I recommend that the management actually stay in one of these rooms and realize how impractical it is. There is no way to shower without holding the detachable water spray. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least. Perhaps add some grab bars to your normal rooms instead of the roll in shower as the only option.
