I stayed here on a long weekend to see some Broadway shows. The hotel is at a great location, just a few blocks from Times Square and the Theater District. The room is clean and nicely decorated with a modern feel. There are lots of convenient electrical outlets for recharging. The bed was low to the ground, but comfortable.
The rainfall shower was definitely an upgrade over typical hotel showerheads--although the no-step entry into the shower meant that the bathroom floor got wet every time I took a shower. They should fix that. The bathroom sink faucet (good pressure, lots of fast hot water) also had a tendency to blast right out of the sink and onto the countertop with only medium pressure.
There was supposed to be a safe in the room, but there was none in mine. Also, there was a non-working mini-fridge in my room. My biggest complaint would be the lack of a comfortable chair of any kind beyond the desk chair. There was ample floor space for one. There was nowhere to watch the TV from except the bed. But these are very minor points--I had a good stay here.
The staff at the front desk was very friendly--even the doorman. I would absolutely stay here again if the price was right.More
