The unfriendly staff towards BIPOC guests is unmatched. It’s sad because the staff who were rude were BIPOC themselves. Think not opening doors, or greeting as you check in or walk out. Not even telling you where the elevator is! Please tell your check in host to work on his customer service.
The elevator is not air conditioned and in the summer, this is highly uncomfortable given the supposed luxury vibe the hotel is supposed to have. The room was nice enough though and the lobby was very beautiful. Jack’s lounge also had a great matcha. The Le Labo toiletries were a lovely touch.
