I regularly hosted a morning sound meditation at the roof of Modernhaus this month. I love this place because the Jimmy Rooftop bar has been one of my favorite gems in NYC and I was excited for the opportunity to use the pool deck for my events. The hotel is lovely, but one of the highlights was meeting Ali Noble - a lifeguard at the rooftop pool. She was not only helpful to me, but so courteous and attentive to the guests I found it inspiring. She made the experiences I had on that deck exponentially better and I can confidently say she made the roof feel like an oasis for guests too. The hotel itself has so many beautiful features including Jumpin’Jacks which i highly recommend for breakfast. The front desk and bell staff were also really fantastic. This is a great boutique hotel tucked away in a very fun and lively neighborhood and a perfect option for either business or pleasure.

The top deck pool is fantastic with wonderful views over the Hudson River at Sunset. It’s a lively spot for a drink. The food is wonderful in both of the restaurants. The views from the corner room are a treat to flopping you right in the middle of the city above Soho.

The rooftop is closed for hotel guests in the evenings and rented out to maximize their benefits. The rooms underneath suffer from noise in the night. Our complaints were not taken care of and we did not get a different room. This is unacceptable. The cleaning stuff on the other hand was very friendly and very professional.
