Manager Steven made our stay at the Moxy a 10/10. I work in the hospitality field, and I have not felt more welcomed staying at a hotel. I was able to extend my stay for a few days with short notice. Thank you, Steven. Just be aware that there are no fridges in the hotel; however, water is provided for a charge of $5.

Had an absolute amazing time at the Moxy hotel and Steve was very helpful and gave us a lot of good suggestions. He gave us a room right even though our check in wasn’t until later. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and I would definitely stay here again

Great location! Rooms are clean on the smaller side but it is NYC great for 1-2 people. The rooftop is an amazing experience with great views and the $30 daily credit is a great perk for the morning coffee and pastries. Will be back again soon!!

Beyond the comfort of the hotel, bed, pillows, and great overall amenities, the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and flexible during our stay. They were more than accommodating and provided a great experience for myself and my guests, even when we experienced a booking issue.
One note, there is no fridge in most of the rooms, and at the time they offered 2 (fairly priced at $5) Fiji water bottles in the room, but NYC tap water is generally very safe to drink.

Normally, I don’t stay at Moxy hotels because they’re more of a party vibe type of environment. But on this occasion, I was not only blown away by the atmosphere but also by the hospitality.
When I first got to the hotel, I noticed that the AC in my hotel room didn’t cool down. So I called downstairs and spoke with Leslie. She’s one of the employees at the Moxy Chelsea. She not only got me in another room ASAP, but I was upgraded and she even had the hotel engineer set my thermostat to lower than 68.
Needless to say, I was not only taken care of but Leslie went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. This is why I continue to choose Marriott brand hotels to stay with. I’d definitely come back and stay here and would recommend.
