AKA Sutton Place is a desirable extended stay hotel with a wonderfully convenient and quiet location on East 56th Street. The charming building is well furnished with comfortable apartments (especially so on the Penthouse floors) as well as elegant public spaces including a very nice bar. The property is also blessed with a professional, competent, extraordinarily caring and helpful team. Due to unexpected illness my husband and I were guests of the hotel for well over a year. Throughout our stay we felt completely at home; nothing was too much bother for each member of the staff and shining through was a genuine desire to meet our needs in a thoughtful and unobtrusive way. It was always a pleasure entering or exiting the building – the warm greeting from whomever was at the front desk was a delightful way to start or end a day. As in April 2022 it was a great pleasure to stay at AKA Sutton Place and I look forward to the next visit.

We have been coming to this property for many, many years. The staff is second to none, they make you feel at home.
The property has amazing amenities, like a swimming pool, gym, wine room, full laundry, nice living area with fireplace, movie room, bar, etc etc.
We would never consider a traditional hotel over AKA Sutton Place in NYC, simply because it is the best in town. We tried other AKA's in NYC but Sutton place is # 1
The suites needs some updating due not the pass of the years, but they are in reasonable conditions.
Once you try it you'll never come back to a hotel...

I stayed 6 months at the hotel and everything went very well. The hotel is perfectly placed in midtown east, close to everything and in a calm area. All the receptionist have been so lovely with me! I recommend!
