My best friend and I selected this hotel, from a shortlist of 5, on the basis of the central location and the fact it had a rooftop bar - the location was amazing to get around but the rooftop bar was closed. We didn’t get any prior warning and when we checked in the receptionist didn’t indicate there was another bar we could use. On the last day we found out that the Bar on L2 was available. This was a bit disappointing.

We also booked a deal that said there was as 15uSD per day available as credit but when we got to the hotel
They confirmed it was for dinner only. I e didn’t eat at the restaurant- although it did look nice.

We stayed in room 1009, a bunk bed double as it had more floor space than the twin. It was absolutely tiny! There was barely any hanging space and no where to put luggage. We lived out of suitcases on the floor, which for a 5 night stay was tough. Our blind was also broken (despite twice informing the hotel to fix it) so we were either in darkness or fully exposed to the Barber shop - not ideal.

The coffee shop was only open once in 5 mornings so we had to travel out for coffee and tea in the morning as there’s no facilities in the room.

On the plus side. It’s clean and the staff are lovely. The hotel also has relationships with local Businesses and we got discounts to tonehouse gym,
Tattoo shop and an IV healthcare provider. There is also a gym available to use free of charge, the New York Sports Club. There’s also a Curb taxi service - although we only found out about it on the last day.

The Refinary and Moxy were slightly out of our price range - I wish we had spent the money and booked one of them.
