Central Park for me is a great part of NYC. We walked from our hotel , The New Yorker to Harlem and loved it. Revisited the Wisteria Pagoda that was in such vibrant colour on our visit last June. Meandering, we dropped by the Dakota Building before a brief visit to Strawberry Fields. Then up the hill to Nutters Battery before arriving in Harlem. I agree with some reviewers that it’s not the most striking park but this is the centre of Manhattan. I have it as a must , like the Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Central Station on any visit to New York.
