We had a rainy day during our visit and decided to spend the day at the Museum. This is probably a great place to visit on a sunny day too, but considering how much there is to see inside, this is a great place to visit on a rainy day. All of the exhibits were top notch and all of the information for each exhibit was very informative. There was work being done on some of the exhibits while were were there, but there is so much to see that we didn't miss anything. The volunteers that provided directions and information were mostly good, with some needed some updating of their C/S skills. This is a place where you really do need at least a half day to explore. It was very busy, but the line to get in moved right along and you never really felt crowded, except in the cafe. Even there, we were able to find space for ourselves.

So beautiful and big museum. I just loved it. So many things to see. If you’re a student you have an extra discount and there’s security making sure you don’t bring anything weird and will search your bags. You can’t go to see the paintings if you’re drinking liquids so make sure to throw them away when you enter that area.

At MET you can find so many artistic works with a so strong emotional impact that you’ll be taken until the exit. And as soon you are out, you’ll desire to come back again and again ...

This museum has lots of interesting objects. It is very big, so at least a whole day or two are neccesary to see everything carefully.

My favorite galleries are the Egyptian, and the Modern Art.
Could be there for hours admiring all that awesome art around me.
