Owner description: Grand Central Terminal is the most extraordinary public space in New York City. Opened to the public in 1913, this historic train terminal is a world-famous landmark in Midtown. Its rich history is a story of immense wealth and great engineering. Grand Central is one of the busiest train stations in the world, with approximately 750,000 visitors every day. It is the home of Metro-North Railroad, a subway station, iconic restaurants, shops, and the world's most alluring Apple Store. Some of the highlights to see along your tour of Grand Central include the opal-faced clock, valued at $20 million, above the Information Booth, the Largest Tiffany Glass Clock in the World below the 48-foot, 1500-ton Transportation statue overlooking 42nd Street at Park Avenue, and the mystifying acoustics of the Whispering Gallery in front of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant. Audio and guided tours are available for those with a passion for history. More information regarding tours and ways to plan your visit can be found on the Grand Central Terminal website.

Yes its a train station but if not for Jackie O it would have all the charm of Penn Station (which is none). There's actually quite a bit to see within the place. Some highlight:
- Whispering walls - between the 1st and second levels
- The ceiling mural and why its "wrong"
- The black brick....for years the ceiling was black from soot and dirt of the city....when they renovated and cleaned the ceiling, they left one brick with the original grime...can you spot it?
- The Oyster Bar - Its iconic
- Campbell's apartment - walk in like you're looking for someone...grab a peak and then run (don't walk) out before dropping ridiculous cash on a drink.
- Photography - Bring your neutral density filter, tripod and have a ball. The light changes throughout the day.

And there's so much more. Drop in....watch the commuters. Its worth a visit.

Being in New York City you might as well stop by and see the Station because of it's significant history as a hub of transportation. I also could reflect on how many movies I have seen this in through the years.

A station that must be shared an old relic of New York past and a visit here is just to say - ''I've been there''... it is just a station that is used in films and iconic and easy to find....:)

The grandeur of this massive iconic structure is a must experience for all visitors and locals to embrace.
There is something for everyone at all levels.
The most memorable moments are totally free.
The energy is palpable, the visuals stunning, the learning is omni present.
If you open your eyes wide and watch the people of the the world all become one and stand in awe of what they immediate love, one will have grasped the importance of this magistic place.
If you want to spend money, there are endless possibilities across all senses.
I personally see, learn, grow exponentially with each visit and have been at GCS countless times by myself, with family and with friends.
Each moment brings new wonderment.
If you have the time, ride a train north to Rye NY, or Greenwich CT., enjoy those incredible towns.
Then out the cherry on top, by coming back to GCS to empty into the arrival platforms and roam back into the building with the masses.
This arrival into Manhattan is a simplistic pleasure that is well worth the effort.
