“Too bad the team isn't as great as the stadium...”

But there's always hope. :-) Come early, come hungry. There's a great parking garage across the street (6ht and K St.) for a flat $15 fee that will allow you to stay until midnight so you can go into the GasLamp District after the game and eat some more!! The stadium is clean, with many restrooms. I was there on a full-house day and never waited in line at the restrooms. Make sure to take a full tour of all the gourmet and stadium food stalls and restaurants before making up your mind--but one thing I can say is the Tri-Tip Nachos at Seaside Market were definitely skimpy, but very tasty. Skip the hot dogs that the guys sell in the stands--instant heartburn.

Me and my boyfriend were in town for a business trip, we decided to check out a Padres game one night. The game was sold out, but we were able to buy tickets to walk around, basically standing room tickets. Well worth it! The stadium was very clean, employees were friendly, the Padres won, and there was not a bad seat (well..place to stand and watch) that we could see. There were places to sit though. There was a grass field where you could watch the game on a huge screen, perfect for families, there was a playground and many kids running around and playing baseball. You could also sit on the open bars that they have by the concessions. We had a blast and would definitely return!!

Visited over one year ago to a Monster Truck show. But visited again last month to see my first ever baseball game. What a superb stadium. I wish the Padres & all of their fans good luck for the future.

Saw the Padres and the Mets first of three games. The game was on-site the next 2 games had a lot more action and higher scores but the park was nice, nice pick of food and drink. It was in a busy part of town and close to our hotel so we walked. Nice place to see.

Very nice comfortable ball park with lots of food and beverage options. Located in downtown with nice views. Easy to watch the game from just about any seat.
