Our family of 5 had a great experience here! The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms were good sizes. The bathrooms were big too. The kitchen was good, average size. Stocked great except no hot pads. Minor thing. We cooked several meals. Got great food at Albertsons. We even rolled the grocery cart up to our room! Of course, we took it back. We read about many homeless people around the building. There were a lot but not at our entrances. There was no begging or interference from them. Check-in and out was simple and fabulous. The furniture was comfortable and the balcony was nice to have. Please don't miss going up to the rooftop space. Lots of good pictures from there. The fire pit never came on but the music and grill were great! Please stay here if you get the chance!
This location was excellent! The condition and cleanliness was wonderful and environment very quiet and safe. I traveled with my mother, significant other and our 15 year old. We all had our own space and enjoyed out time. We highly recommend this property, and will likely stay here again when we are in San Diego next.
My husband and 2 growing teenage boys, 14 and 17, needed a spacious and comfortable place to stay for a week.
The place is as the photos show; very nice and spacious. You will have 2 parking spots in a gated garage conveniently right next to the elevator that leads right next to the condo.
The process beginning from making the reservations to the end was fantastic. The customer service top notch and very accommodating.
This place also had a blender, which I really wanted for my morning shakes! Very secure and extremely quite...I could barely hear any of our neighbors.
Beds were comfortable and it was so nice having access to a full sized washer and dryer as I have to do laundry every day.
The amenities were fabulous...pool, hot tub, community room, roof top fire place and TV, and we especially enjoyed using the 2-floor fitness center every day with ample weights and cardio.
The apartment is also right next door to an Albertsons and other local restaurants.
The price was better than a hotel.
My few suggestions for improvement:
--stock the kitchen with spices, butter, oil, and more cooking pans...even a crock pot would be nice.
--the pillows weren't very comfortable; I suggest getting new pillows.
--stock supply more towels and some beach towels to use at the pool.
--deep clean the carpets...they were a bit dingy.
--You really need to upgrade the wi-fii....it was terrible.
Other than that, we will definitely be staying at a Stay Alfred property again....great experience!
This place was perfect for our San Diego Vacation. Th kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were COMFORTABLE, the location was perfect and having the outdoor bbqs, pool and social spaces were a great addition that I didn't expect to be as nice as they were. We will definitely rent from Stay Alfred again for both our fun vacations and for work trips too.
Nice, clean, spacious apartment with many high-end building amenities. Professionally managed. It's on the edge of the nice part of downtown (which is getting much nicer), but there are many homeless people camped out on the street in the immediate vicinity.
