We checked in online to get a room that was 971 corner room after an hour of choosing the morning of our trip . After arrival we found someone had been in that room the computer checked us into for days. We were then upgraded to a small suite on the 14th floor which was nice. Due to the pandemic we had to stop housekeeping in the Hall to get fresh towels and when we requested them they never arrived. The room was a tad outdated with curtains that did not completely closed letting bright sun in early like laser beams. The jack hammers in the city until nine each night were also not filtered by the windows. No microwave in a suite was confusing and we smelled someone smoking on our floor last evening? The room was very good but far from great.

The front desk staffer on 8/9/2020 at 9:30 pm was the rudest POS EVER!! Don’t stay here no one needs to be argued with. What needs to happen is she needs to be FIRED!! I have contacted Hilton Corporate so that no one else needs to deal with this I’ll trained pos. I’m shocked at this property she would’ve slipped through the cracks and would’ve been hired!!

Hilton Diamond Elite, but got no recognition or greeting at all upon check-in. Room was musty and rundown. Grungy and cracked bathroom tile. Moldy shower. No cups in the bathroom (not even plastic). No view except of the bank of rooms right next to you looking directly into your room. Bedroom furniture didn't even match. No minibar. No USB Ports!!! (Hello, it's 2020!! Did you guys notice??) Front desk would not allow late check-out on a Sunday morning.
I just can't condone historic hotels resting on their laurels. Yes, guests want the history but they don't want to live in the 1900's either!! Especially at this price point!!
I will make sure to take my business elsewhere in the future.

We loved our stay here as the hotel has so much charm and great attention to details. The staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly and we loved Fin Point, the restaurant in the lobby. We went there 3 different times; drinks, snacks and breakfast. The flatbed pizza was amazing. Hotel is convenient to so many places as well as The T. My husband is Hilton Honors Diamond and he said this is one of his favorite hotels. We had a great nights sleep too.

My wife and I stayed at this Hilton while in town for a show. Several garages are within walking distance. Very convenient location for any type of travel in Boston. Staff were friendly, and the hotel was very clean!
