Nice room setup. Good stay. But when I checked out, the front desk woman told me that they will send the receipt later by email instead of sending the receipt at the checkout. I waited for a week, no receipt was received. So I called the front desk. A woman picked up the phone, and she confirmed my email and cut off my phone without me finishing speaking with her. I thought it's rude.

Dear jy903,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us at the Element Boston Seaport District. However, I'm disappointed to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience with our front desk talent as we pride ourselves on our dedication to service. If you still have not received your receipt I would ask that you please reach out to Kevin.Flanagan@alofthotels.com and we would be happy to ensure you receive proper documentation for your stay with us. Thank you again for sharing and we hope to have the chance to host you again and improve your perception of our property.

I attended a convention at the Boston Convention Center across the street, and my wife went sightseeing. The Element is across the street from the center. We had booked a room at another hotel, next door (the Aloft Boston Seaport) and we discovered that the room there was right across from an ongoing rock concert! As Aloft would not give us a rom higher up, or in the back, we moved to the Element, and got a very quiet room in the back.

I recommend the Element if you are attending a meeting at the convention center. It is very convenient. The rooms are clean, nice, and have a kitchenette. A healthy breakfast is included. The front desk people are helpful and polite. The price is rigth, for Boston (!) which is a very expensive city. If you are coming to Boston for sightseeing, it is not a very good palce, as it is not very convenient to anything, except a part of the harbor, and not close to the subway. The neighborhood itself is being converted to apartments from being all warehouses etc, and it is not much to look at.

Room tip: Get a room in the back: not a good viwe, but quiet. The city has concerts across the street.

I love this hotel and they were very accommodation when Cancelon screwed up my room. I booked a suite and have it in writing from cancelon. However, they sent the hotel my booking was for a traditional room. Will never use them again!!

First visit to Element and had a terrific stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Has a full kitchen, residential frig, silverware, plates, pots etc. shower is overhead “rain” style. Does include breakfast. But you can cook everything you want right in your room-just bring your groceries!
Downsides are the usual crazy expensive cost for things like incidentals, snacks, parking etc. in case you don’t want to cook.

This is our first time staying at The Element which is a Westin, now Marriott property. We picked it because it was on the Seaport, was one of the only hotels around with 2 queen beds and the room had more than average square footage. We were 4 adults sharing the room and we all thought it was great bang for the buck! We arrived early at 12:00, were told that it was no problem and that our room was ready. This is an eco friendly hotel so when we first entered the room I thought the light for the bathroom was broken but there is a main electrical switch by the door that powers the whole room and then the individual lights and outlets will work. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom is very modern with soaps and lotion that the Westin is famous for. The efficiency kitchen was a plus with a full size refrigerator to store wine and having a cook top was great. We went down to the continental breakfast in the morning and brought back coffee and bagels to grill. The hotel was across the street from the Auto Show at the Convention Center and about 1mi walk to the travel show at the Seaport Convention Center. It was sleeting so we took an Uber back from the Seaport Convention Center for $6.85 plus tip which was so worth it. All in all it was a great weekend and we will definitely be staying here again when heading back into the city.
