We stumbled in while visiting Boston looking for a place that served both Italian and seafood. The food was excellent but quite expensive for lunch. $70 for two with no drinks and no lobster. Would shop around next time.

the experience: seated 40 minutes late with no apology; shoe horned into a corner where 2 of the five in our party, who were petite, could not straighten out their feet and instead sat sideways on their chairs (no exaggeration); very very slow service because the waitstaff was obviously over worked (but still polite); food that was fresh but wholly unremarkable. i felt like a sardine in a tourist trap.
the conclusion: there will not be a second time

Arrived early and reservation allowed seating right on time in this crowded [as they all are] North End Italian spot. Sat for 15 minutes while tables cleared etc and finally the very busy host was summoned and provided menus after which a server appeared. Wine and food was good and service remained slow. Need to be able to be patient and the yell across the table as it is extremely loud. Doubt a return is in the cards.

Stopped in because I liked the look of this place. Was not disappointed. Had fantastic lobster bisque and crab ball appetizers. Veal parmesan was my selection and my son had a pasta with cream sauce and artichoke. Both were wonderful and complemented by a nice bottle of Valpolicella wine. Prices were very reasonable and with tax and tip we were on our way for about $150. Service was excellent
